Well I am 13, and last year, we had like 2 semesters in one day. The day before, I would study about 2-4 for each test. (I try to get as best grades as I can. I'm not a slacker) Well college is more serious, so I guess you need to study like that, or even maybe more. Studying helps, so the more you do it, the better you will learn about your tests!
